Our Staff

David joined the FHBC staff in April 2021. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, David served as a Minister of Youth at churches in Texas and Tennessee.

David is from Nacogdoches, Texas. He and his wife Kristie have one daughter, Brynna. The Reeds also have a dog named Coco. 

Why do you have a heart for the ministry/ministries you serve at FHBC?
"I’ve worked with students for over 25 years and that passion only continues to grow. My goal in ministry is to help students learn to live a gospel centered life. I also love to work alongside parents and volunteers who pour into student’s lives on a regular basis."
