Our Staff

Jay joined the FHBC staff in December 2020. He has a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from North Greenville University and a Master's of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Previously, Jay served as Associate Executive Director-Treasurer/Chief Strategist at the South Carolina Baptist Convention, a Student Pastor, Church Planter, Lead Pastor, and Denominational Executive. 

Jay is from Columbia, South Carolina. He and his wife Lara Beth have three daughters, Molly, Ellie, and Caroline.
