Our Children’s Choirs provide preschoolers through sixth graders with the opportunity to use their heart, mind, body and voice to make music in praise and worship to God.
Experiences in music are the tools we use for teaching spiritual truths, laying a foundation for corporate and private worship.
All music is chosen with the goal of leading children to a growing faith in Jesus Christ and to disciple them in their faith. We use the Growing In Grace Children's Choir Curriculum. The age-appropriate music helps children explore and develop their gifts, talents and abilities. Included in our choir curriculum is a hymn memory program for first through sixth grades. By committing hymns to memory, the timeless tunes and theological truths will become a part of your child’s mind and heart.
The preschool choirs (ages four, five and Kindergarten), Music Makers I, II, III and IV (grades one through four) and Young Musicians (grades five and six) all rehearse on Wednesday evenings from 6–6:45pm upstairs on Children's Wing during the school year, and sing in worship several times during the year.
