Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Vanderbilt Place

One of the earliest campus ministries at Vanderbilt, the BCM at Vanderbilt place serves as an outreach to college students at Vanderbilt University. BCM stands for Baptist Collegiate Ministries, and is a group of students focused on serving, loving and discipling their fellow students in the heart of the campus.

Begin Anew

Begin Anew empowers individuals to overcome the obstacles caused by poverty by providing education, mentoring, and resources. Begin Anew serves the Middle Tennessee area through five locations in Nashville, Madison, and Franklin, TN. The program provides three curriculum tracks for students: High School Equivalency test preparation, Computer and Job Skills, and Life Skill English. Enrollment in services is open to persons of all faiths and culture.

BrightStone

BrightStone expands the potential of adults with special needs by providing opportunities and solutions that enrich their lives. Their mission is to provide a comprehensive work, social support, and future residential community for adults with special needs, expanding their potential and helping them develop mentally, physically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives one heart at a time. Since 1954, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ.

Hope Clinic For Women

Hope Clinic for Women has served Nashville for 30 years and cares for women, men and families dealing with an unplanned pregnancy, pregnancy loss or postpartum depression from a Christian perspective. On top of their pregnancy services, they offer healthy relationship counseling, medical care and STD testing.

Legacy Mission Village

Legacy Mission Village seeks to be agents of hope for refugees by feeding the hungry, giving care and counsel, providing education and training to those in need, and assisting as refugees adapt to a new culture. 

The Next Door

At The Next Door, we celebrate the transformation in the lives of women in crisis knowing God has a plan and purpose for your life that is good. With an evidence-based approach, The Next Door provides services for those impacted by addiction, mental illness, trauma and or incarceration with Christ-centered, compassionate care.

Oak Cottage for Women

The Oak Cottage is an emerging ministry to women transitioning from the correctional system back into civilian life. With a Gospel-centered approach, Oak Cottage will walk closely with a small group of women in a residential setting to help them find spiritual, emotional, relational and occupational healing and restoration. 

Siloam Family Health Center

Siloam Family Health Center is committed to caring for the uninsured in Middle Tennessee by providing high-quality, affordable health care for those who fall through the cracks of the health care system due to financial, cultural or language barriers.

Siloam meets the needs of the whole person—physical, emotional and spiritual. Siloam’s health care program is designed to be culturally sensitive, preserve dignity and share the love of Christ by serving those in need. In 2011, the clinic conducted more than 20,000 patient encounters. 100% of Siloam’s patients are uninsured or functionally uninsured.

United 4 Hope

United 4 Hope is a strategic initiative of the Operation Andrew Group which partners with Metro Nashville Public Schools and local churches to challenge poverty and illiteracy by tutoring struggling students and supporting teachers and administrators in the local schools. FHBC is partnered with Whitsitt Elementary School.

Youth For Christ

YFC reaches young people everywhere, working together with the local church and other like-minded partners to raise up lifelong followers of Jesus who lead by their godliness in lifestyle, devotion to the Word of God and prayer, passion for sharing the love of Christ and commitment to social involvement. Our youth leaders lead Campus Life at Grassland Middle School.
