Our mission is to love God and love people by seeking out, growing up and sending out disciples of Jesus Christ.
We desire to be more and more like Jesus
Jesus was both totally committed to obeying God’s will and also the most caring, loving and forgiving person who ever walked this earth. Children, sinners, religious leaders and the non-religious were all drawn to Him. We hope that from the moment you step onto our campus, you will experience the spirit and character of Jesus and be drawn to Him. (Matthew 22:36–40)
We desire to worship Him
Worship is our top priority. We want our worship to be Spirit-led and Christ-centered. We hope that Sunday morning worship and Sunday School are the most inspiring and exciting times of your week. (Psalm 2:11; Matthew 2:2; Matthew 28:17; Revelation 4)
We desire to reach the world for Christ
Our local mission field is Jerusalem (Davidson and Williamson Counties); our global mission field is Judea (state of Tennessee), Samaria (United States) and uttermost parts of the world (whole world). We see praying, giving, participating in partnerships and going as the four key actions for reaching our world for Christ. (Matthew 28:18–20; Acts 1:8)
We desire to make disciples
Preaching and teaching God’s Word is central to discipling believers. God’s Word is perfect truth in its entirety. We teach babies through senior adults God’s Word in every ministry, and we call on the Holy Spirit to reveal the relevance of God’s Word to everyday life.
We desire to use innovative methods
We believe in an unchanging message, but we are committed to ever-changing methodologies. We seek Spirit-led innovation instead of the status quo.
We desire to minister with a Kingdom vision
Under God’s leadership we work to build up and cooperate with other Christ-centered, Bible-believing evangelical ministries.
We desire to be faithful stewards.
We want to be faithful stewards of the resources God has entrusted to us in everything we do. (Malachi 3:8–10; Matthew 6:19–24)
We desire to tap God’s power through prayer
Prayer is our power source. (Luke 19:46; Romans 8:26–27)
We desire to minister with excellence
We want to give you our very best, always. (Philippians 1:10; 4:8)
We desire to challenge Christians to go the “extra mile” as ministers
We carry out servant ministry with, and to, people of all ages. Our ministers are called to lead, recruit, teach and train people to do ministry, but we believe every Christian is called to be a minister. We want you to be treated better than you ever have been before. (Matthew 5:41)
